We hope that you are safe and well during this time.
On the 26th of March this year, we had the unfortunate task of saying goodbye to our guests and half of our staff. With a heavy heart, we locked the gate behind them. We spent the rest of the day preparing for the lockdown.
When we woke on the morning of the 27th, the realization dawned that no happy guests, laughter or excitement would fill our check-in day. These were uncertain times, and we had to plan our days carefully. Our on-site staff compliment changed from a team of ten to myself (the Resort Manager), our Front Office Administrator, a Maintenance worker along with his wife and their child, our Housekeeping Supervisor and a Housekeeper.
Together with the VRS Director, Marjorie Forssman, we started adapting, refining and updating our daily procedures so that we could continue to maintain our beautiful Resort and prepare for your arrival, whenever that may be.
Over and above the numerous safety measures and protocols we have implemented - hand sanitizing stations have been installed, all apartments have been fumigated and cleaned, and maintenance has been actioned in all of the apartments.
We look forward to the day you drive through our gate - in the meantime , we will continue working hard to ensure that our Resort is ready and safe to accommodate you, our valued Shareholders, your families, and all of our other guests.
